How to get there from Salvador:

Ferry Boat from São Joaquim Maritime Terminal to Bom Despacho, Itaparica Island (1 hour, R$ 5).

From Bom Despacho, at the ferry boat departure, there is a bus to Valença (2 hours, R$20).

From the maritime terminal of Valença (5 minutes from the bus terminal) fast boats depart for Boipeba (1 hour, R$44).

From the maritime terminal in Valença, another option is to take a bus to Torrinha and a boat from Torrinha to Boipeba (2.5 hours, R$16).

Catamarà from Mercato Modelo (Salvador) to Morro de São Paulo (R$ 95 per person, 2.5 hours). Jeep from Morro to Boipeba (R$ 95 per person, 1.5 hour).
